STEPHEN
R. CLARK is a native of New Castle, Indiana where he
graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School. Later he attended
Evangel (University) College in Springfield, Missouri earning a
B.A. in English and Biblical Studies, with a minor in
Psychology. A writer and communications professional, he
served as the Editor of Christian Bookseller Magazine in Carol
Stream, Illinois (now Christian Retailing), the Managing Editor
of Bridge Publishing, Inc. (now Bridge-Logos Books) in South
Plainfield, New Jersey, and the Public Information &
Publications Director for a Christian liberal arts college in
Ohio.
Since he began writing in 1968 he has authored short stories,
poetry, online content, ad copy, scripts, speeches, direct mail,
articles, and more. He has ghostwritten several Christian books
and contributed chapters to compilations, devotionals, and other
books.
Over a seven year period he held positions in employee
communications, proposal development, technical writing, quality
& process management, and more in various units of AT&T in New
Jersey, including AT&T Network Systems (now Lucent), AT&T
Treasury, and AT&T Solutions.
He returned to Indiana in 1996 operating a free-lance writing
and communications business (which he has done full time and
part time for years) until joining Rolls-Royce Aerospace
(formerly Allison Engine). He then served for three years as the
Corporate Communications/PR Manager with Best Access Systems
(formerly Best Lock and now owned by Stanley Works) in
Indianapolis.
In addition to the abovementioned experience he has also has
done call center tier 2 technical support, factory labor, home
construction, greenhouse labor, janitorial, lumber yard labor,
direct home sales, directory keylining (graphic layout), and
menswear sales. He has taught a continuing education course for
IUPUI in business writing.
Stephen is the Publisher of Epiphany Lane Press and a current
member of the Evangelical Press Association (EPA) and the
Associated Church Press (ACP), and a former member of the
Fishers, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the IABC, and the PRSA.
He resides in Fishers, Indiana and attends Fall Creek Community
Church in Fishers (www.fallcreek.org).

Stephen's favorite theologians include Francis Schaeffer and
the Apostle Paul.
He also enjoys the music of U2, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, The
Band, and Natalie Merchant, among others. His all-time favorite
CD is Music for Baroque Trumpet by Wynton Marsalis.
