KISSED,
he gave himself gently Into the hands of those that came for him. Armed and shielded, they looked and felt foolish, Capturing this man, standing unflinching In front of them.
......His followers fled, fearful, And he blessed them, understanding, Knowing in time they would return to him, Better men, broken by this one moment Of reasonable disgrace.
......He stood silent and stared. A piercing peaceful gaze That none could endure or resist.
......It made them nervous, And fanned the small embers Of restless anger inside them.
......They scurried around him, Trying to create an illusion of capture. They were unsure of why they were taking him. But they needed no reason. The night Was tempered with irrational tension.
