Yes,

The wind,

It rages

Against the warmth

And

Foretells

The coming

Of freezing storm.

Yes,

My cat,

She lies here

Wrapped in purring,

Beside

My feet, full

Of dreams, stirring.

Yes,

Candles

Are burning

Against the dark

And

Alone

Coldness of

Being apart.
