Listen to me breathe
as I lay still on my bed.
It is you that I'm breathing in
and not you that I am breathing out.
..... .....Do you hear me?

Listen to me whisper
as I sit here quietly beside you.
These are my thoughts and desires of you
that I whisper into your ears.
..... .....Are you listening?

Oh the intense sweetness of your presence
as you walk, sit, exist dearly near to me
talking and laughing and being.
..... .....You are.

I listen to you and take your words in,
deeply.
..... .....You fill my senses.
You fill my life.
You fill my heart with more
love than I can barely hold.
And I love to hold your love
..... .....in my heart
.....in my mind
in my whole being.
